Animals experience the world through an energetic filter, they are super tuned into the energies of every person, animal, place, or circumstance they encounter. They respond energetically to the world around them and are extremely sensitive to external influences of imbalanced energy and human emotions such as anger or fear.
Electrical energies from Wi Fi, cell phones, above or underground electrical grids, TV’s and general household appliances have electrical patterns that can nudge our animal friends out of balance, and anxious, sometimes to the point of illness. The “electrical” energetic patterns of flower essences emanate natures perfect balance, positively helping animals to re-balance and improve the quality of their health and well being.
In nature, animals recognize and forage for plants and flowers with certain patterns of energy to assist them. In our modern age of domesticated animals and often limited resources of natural flowers available, our animal friends do not always have the option to seek out the plants and flower they need to heal themselves.
Animals and flowers share many evolutionary challenges. Flower essences offer animals an ideal way to re balance and heal. They effortlessly replicate the energetic information and patterns of the flower essences, which naturally moves the animal towards greater health.
I have a bunny Shanti (pictured) who occasionally loves to munch on fresh
aloe vera straight from the plant. (surprisingly as aloe skin is quite bitter.) As Shanti doesn’t do this every day, she has shown me this plant is medicine for her. Bunnies can suffer from fur blockages in the intestines, so aloe makes sense as it’s extremely versatile in it’s vibrational strengths, helping calm and soothe inflamed tissue and restore health during any illness. The flower essence of aloe allows animals to experience it’s benefits when it is not available and without the bitterness, as the essence comes directly from the flower and not the leaf.
I always have 2 water bottles for Shanti and decided one day to experiment by only putting flower essences in one bottle. Over the years I have learned from Shanti that every single time she will choose water from the water bottle that has flower essences in it, over the water bottle that has none.
Flower Essences can be used by people or animals, providing a natural re-connection back to the master healer…“mother nature”. Truth is you deserve all you want..all of us do.
Sometimes it’s a matter of us all seeing & transforming old patterns of undeserving etc…these are holographic data of when we were younger and perceptions we formed early out of our circumstances with young not yet matured reactions…they overlay onto our current energy system and are like a shadow. Often we are not even aware they exist. So it’s in self reflection and new awareness this is revealed.
I was meditating yesterday and received information about it from my angel guides. They said; learn to recognize when this kind of holographic data is active, then acknowledge it, thank it, and then choose to act from your higher self…the holograms are old ideas, reactions and perceptions of our young self that most often do not serve us any longer. So trick is to recognize it… ask if not sure, then ask oneself to act from higher self.
I resonated with the explanation about old patterns being like holographic data imposed on ourselves. And explains the reason why we often know better but still act out old patterns, cause we get hooked into the hologram as it’s familiar, automatic and deeply ingrained in our energy system.
This helped me understand why we sometimes attract another that is not available for us, or like my girlfriend was saying this morning how she is not taking good care of her health cause her husband doesn’t take care of himself … is reflection of the old hologram showing up and continuing to be activated. It’s never really about the other person. It’s simply showing information about us that we may not have been aware of prior. The hologram you are tapped into at the time determines your current “truth”.
When we avoid taking a situation personally or making a situation mean anything negative about ourselves and simply see it for what it is, we avoid negative self judgment and making a story about what we think it means which then hooks in our emotions into the story, giving it meaning and fuel, leading to a biased view of our experience.
Story + emotion + meaning = perception = truth…
Change the “story” and you’ll shift perception and access the higher truth and the gift in your experience.
Cold weather & drafts leave people more vulnerable at this time of the year, especially if they have a low immune system, or low adrenal /thyroid function…Ayurvedic & Chinese Medicine principles both recommend Mid Dec -Early Feb not to exercise to point of perspiration in winter as the dissipation of heat from body is hard to replace. Its time to stoke fires, eat heavier foods and increase oil content in diet, ghee, coconut oil, olive oil etc…Food tastes should be primarily sour, salty and sweet. Soups, stews etc…Time to store and conserve energy…avoid drafts, and keep kidneys , back , head and ears warm….The goal in winter months is to maintain metabolic & digestive warmth… Because the low temps are around, it is natural to want to heat up with cardio, strong workouts, hot or “warming” Yoga postures or exercises etc…at the same time its good to keep in mind that at this time of year, it is most supportive to do an exercise practice that warms the body, but not to the point of sweating…and avoid drafts. Especially in a practice room or gym that’s colder. If you find yourself sweating, at least wear layers that keep you warm, rather than allowing the sweat to cool you, especially around kidneys.

Tips to Keep You Healthy, Happy and Flexible in Spring.
Spring is a happy time. Bunnies hop about. Flowers emerge in long forgotten corners of your garden. The birds return and sing so loudly they wake you in the morning.
This is not a time to be angry.
But according to Traditional Chinese Medicine, (TCM) being angry is exactly what you can expect if you don’t balance your wood element.
In TCM, spring is represented by the element wood. Wood represents birth and newness, the time for fresh ideas and new starts. Unsurprisingly, its color is green like the fresh growth of spring.
Wood governs your spine, joints, muscles, ligaments and tendons. A wood imbalance can lead to spinal problems, poor flexibility or arthritis. Wood also governs your eyes.
But most important for your mood, wood governs your liver. Your liver is responsible for the smooth flow of energy and smooth flowing energy means health and vitality. The emotion associated with your liver is anger. If your liver is imbalanced your body will be disrupted and you’ll be angry.
Healthy (and happy) spring practices mean balancing your wood element and caring for your liver.
Healthy Spring Practices
Try these spring TCM recommendations, to keep your wood balanced and your liver healthy.
Cleanse. Cleaning your colon releases accumulated toxins, undigested food, parasites and fungi. With a clean colon your digestion is more efficient and your body is healthier.
Detox your liver. Reduce or eliminate alcohol or drugs that are toxic to your liver. Consider a cleanse that specifically targets your liver.
Stretch. Start or recommit to a healthy stretching routine. Try yoga, Tai Chi, Qi Gong, or other exercises that move, loosen and flex your joints.
Exercise your eyes. Massage your face, especially around your eyes. Roll your eyes and move them in figure 8s. Practice focusing on distant objects and then focusing on close objects in quick succession. Put time limits on your computer sessions. These exercises strengthen your eyes and can improve your eyesight.
Control your anger. Create a healthy anger management plan. Journal, meditate or get counseling. Put limits on stressful situations. Find activities that refocus your anger in healthy ways.
Meditate. Meditation is one of the most powerful ways to re-balance, calm, relax and ground. It’s a fast way to come back to center when life throws you off balance, and a practical way to acquire a harmonious body, mind and spirit to start off your day on a positive note. There are so many types of meditation to choose from…Sound Healing Meditation, Sitting Meditation, Walking Meditation, Mantra Meditation, Moving Meditation, Guided Visualization Meditation, Crystal Meditation are a few.
Guided Visualization Meditations are fantastic for those who have little patience for sitting or other forms of meditation. Healthy Spring Diet
Follow these tips for a healthy spring diet that supports your liver.
Eat light. Overeating taxes your liver.
Eat greens. Sprouts, wheat grass, spinach, kale and dandelions are particularly good foods in the spring.
Eat sour. Sour is the flavor associated with spring, however sour flavors are only recommended for certain constitutions. Consult an acupuncturist for personalized recommendations of what is best for your constitution. Meanwhile be mindful of dousing your greens with too much vinegar or lemon juice dressings. Balance is key.
Drink milk thistle tea. Milk thistle cleans and supports your liver.
Season your food. Pungent spices like basil, fennel, marjoram, rosemary, caraway, dill and bay leaf are excellent for spring cooking—and they taste good.
By keeping your wood balanced and your liver healthy you will be happy. You’ll feel vital, flexible and clear.
